Within the scope of KKDIK Regulation, signal words are standard terms used to indicate the level of danger of chemical substances. There are two types of signal words: “Danger” and “Caution”:
• The signal word “Danger” indicates more serious hazards.
• The signal word “Caution” is used for lower-level hazards.
Signal words appear on chemical substance labels and help inform users about the precautions that should be taken to reduce the risk of exposure to hazardous substances.
