An article producer is a natural or legal person established in Türkiye who manufactures or assembles an article whose function is determined primarily by its shape, surface, or design, rather than by its chemical composition.
Under the KKDIK Regulation, article producers may be subject to registration and notification obligations for the substances contained in their articles, depending on factors such as substance content, annual tonnage, and potential risks to human health and the environment.
