A generic exposure scenario is a broad exposure scenario designed to cover multiple identified uses of a substance that share similar operational conditions and risk management measures.
Under Article 15(4) of the KKDIK Regulation, exposure scenarios—and, where appropriate, use and exposure categories—must cover all identified uses of the registrant. Generic exposure scenarios help meet this requirement by addressing comparable uses within a single, consolidated assessment.
